Joyful Path of Good Fortune
There are many inner pathways but not all of them lead to the supreme happiness that every living being seeks. Buddha taught inner spiritual paths to liberation, the end of the “endless” cycle of suffering and enlightenment, the fulfillment of our ultimate spiritual potential.
Joyful Path of Good Fortune is Geshe Kelsang Gyatso’s commentary to Lamrim (tib. Lamp on the Path) which is the special presentation of all of Buddha’s teachings. These instructions of Atisha and Je Tsongkhapa are easy to understand, easy to put into practice and presented for especially for people of the modern world. Millions of practitioners have accomplished the supreme spiritual goal by sincerely putting these instructions into practice. Joyful Path of Good Fortune teaches all of the essential views and intentions that are needed to transform ourselves from an ordinary mundane person into a supreme Enlightened Being.

Foundation Program
Foundation Program is a course of study developed by the New Kadampa Tradition that is open to anyone who wishes to deepen their commitment to improving their understanding and practice of Kadampa Buddhism. In weekly classes, students examine the teachings in a particular book, page by page, engaging in preparatory prayers, meditation and in-depth discussions. Students must be registered to attend. For more information contact AKBC.
Resident Teacher, Gen Kelsang Dema leads the classes with a transmission and commentary to the book. This program will be admitting new students to the study of Part 1 of Joyful Path of Good Fortune in February 2011. This course of study continues for about 1 year.
